Our gorgeous couples from 2019 were invited back on 12th January 2020 for a VIP evening which gave them the chance to win the cost of their wedding back.

This was attended by over 100 couples and the night was made up of rugby stars Gareth Anscombe, Josh Navidi and Emily Murphy from Velindre and the night raised over £1200 for the charity. Josh and Gareth did a Q and A with our lovely couples before the lucky winner was drawn and the winners were Olivia and Ioan Evans who got married with us on July 20th 2019 and they were presented a winning cheque for £9,482.60. This was such a successful event and so nice to give something back to one of our lucky couples, we will be rerunning this opportunity to win your wedding back for our lucky couples getting married with us in 2021.

We have had many of our couples featured as feature weddings in Vale Life and City Life and one couple, Dave and Karen Murray-Dickson who got married on 12th October 2019, even had BBC Wales to film their wedding and reception here at Pencoed House for the Dirty Vegan series with Matt Pritchard presenting Series 2 Episode 1, which can be seen on BBC Iplayer. Please see featured weddings and links below.

Pencoed House was also selected and used for the filming location for the very popular Welsh Television show Pobyl Y Cwm, which was filmed here on November 28th 2019.

The winning team here at Pencoed House which includes none other than Jenna Deacon, Darren Hubbard and Johanna Williams which Jenna has been nominated for best Wedding Co-ordinator with Johann Williams winning that title back in 2018.
